The Chinese home environmental protection product industry, as an important pillar of the green economy, has achieved leapfrog development in recent years under the multiple effects of policy driving, consumption upgrading, and technological innovation. With the proposal of the "dual carbon" target, national and local governments are accelerating the transformation of the home industry towards environmental protection through policies such as tax incentives and subsidies. Consumers' attention to environmental indicators such as formaldehyde emissions and VOCs content has significantly increased, with 86% of the new middle class considering environmental protection as the primary factor for home decoration. This industry covers three core areas: green building materials, smart and environmentally friendly homes, and recycling. The East and South China regions account for 60% of the national demand, but the Central and Western markets have the fastest growth rates. This transformation not only meets people's demand for a healthy living environment, but also promotes the green upgrading of traditional industries such as construction and manufacturing, becoming an important engine for high-quality economic development.
